ABOUT
Matt Withey ('Matt The Hat" / "The Cat in the Hat") is a Guitarist and Singer born in Dartford, Kent, England.

Matt's most recent musical endeavour is fronting his own band "Matt & The Dirty Mess." The Dirty Mess cover songs ranging from Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin to Stevie Wonder and James Brown. Although the set is mainly focused on 60s and 70s blues rock it really can be anything that the band can twist into their own style, Gnarls Barkley's "Crazy" for example.

The band plays all across South East London and Kent but has been known to travel across the country.

The Rudimentary Confusion in the mid 2000s playing mainly originals. "The Rudies" played widely across the Uk making regular apperances at Liverpool's famous Cavern Club.
