Matt Withey (The Cat in the Hat) is a Guitarist and Singer born in Dartford, Kent, England. Matt has played with numerous amounts of bands over the years but first started making a name for himself with his band The Rudimentary Confusion in the mid 2000s playing mainly originals. "The Rudies" played widely across the Uk making regular apperances at Liverpool's famous Cavern Club.

To date Matt has played with bands such as The New Outfit, Tumblin' Dice, The Space Monkeys, Triggers Broom, The Roadrunners and plays regularly across the south of England with The Bob Dylan Experience. In between gigging with these bands he has also guested with numerous more and recorded sessions as well.
